Butler on the Move

So it looks like one of my players is getting moved...Caron Butler is supposedly about to be taking his plastic straw-chewing self to to Dallas. According to Rotoworld, "All signs point to the Wizards soon trading Caron Butler, Brendan Haywood and DeShawn Stevenson to the Mavericks in exchange for Josh Howard, Drew Gooden, Quinton Ross, and James Singleton."

Note that the trade isnt expected to be completed until after the All-Star game on Sunday. In NBA terms, it's a win for both sides, especially after the Arenas debacle. Washington gets cap space, Dallas gets two starters, blah blah blah. Fantasy-wise, it's probably a loss for Caron (of course), and a gain for Haywood, Howard and Gooden. Hopefully running with Jason Kidd will help out Butler, but he has to share shots with Dirk and Marion. Maybe it is a blessing. Caron is shooting the worst percentage since his second year in the NBA with Miami -- and maybe fewer shots will mean better looks. One can only pray.

This deal makes me wonder who is more valuable right now: Andray Blatche or Drew Gooden? Or are they just destined for a timeshare?
